Like all ministers we hear Illustrations and do not know where they come from. They are almost like God's "Pithy Sayings." Note this Story please: "In Detroit, a friend of mine was walking along one of the streets, one dark night, and saw approaching him a man with a lantern. As he came up close to him he noticed by the bright light that the man seemed as if he had no eyes and also had a Blind Stick. He went past, but the thought struck him, Surely that man is blind.' He turned around and said, "Hey Fella, are you blind?" "Yes." Then he was asked, "What do you have the flashlight for?"
Let us take an example from that blind man, and cling to our light, flaming with the clear glow of Christ, that men may not stumble over us, but bid all to come up to us. " (Laconic: Dr. Clarence Rucker, Jr.)

A very good story here Clarence, we should all let our light shine so people will know we are here. Thanks Sue, now I feel motivated...smile...David, yes, we all do and should very much. We that know God can see the world as it really is. It is frightening.
Hi, I just put two and two together and came up with you! I was always curious about Dr. Clarence Rucker, Jr. who left very encouraging comments on my articles. Forgive my ignorance. I may have been in the dark about who you are but I know who He is and do my best to let my light shine.
Loved this, Doc! Thank you for sharing it. I may share something similar that I received in email today.
Blessings,
Avis
Thanks Avis...Your articles are my mind set.
