This is a good time to take a landscaped outlook of olden times. It began with God on foot with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden; they were walking together. It will not be over until He dwells again in agreement and harmony with man in heaven. Eden is a depiction of the ultimate way things could and should be. God and man (PS. 133, "How good and pleasant it is for brothers and sisters to dwell together in unity") dwelled together in unity. Their spiritual union is articulated by their walking together in the cool of the day. I personally view "cool of the day" as calm. Adam and Eve enjoyed an unblemished and untarnished relationship (pure) with God. However, Adam and Eve ate (took in and digested disobedience and became filled with sin) of the forbidden fruit.

Sin entered into the picture of harmony and there was separation, pain, and lost for man. Sin became a wedge between God and man. The total story of the Bible ( the Bible is us ) is of man's passage through sin (transgression ) and tribulation (suffering ), God's unyielding pursuit of man in His grace and love, the redemptive giving of His "only begotten Son" on the cross, and the return to oneness in heaven. Heaven itself is a return, restoration, and a re-establishment of the oneness with God that had vanished and lost in The Garden of Eden. God made man in His image. He was made to live in relationship with God. God had given man a soul. Soul cannot be defined materially and it is therefore distinct from the body. The soul is that part of us that is life. It is incorporeal. But, man brought into his existence that which is incompatible with the sanctity of God. Adam and Eve dishonored and violated God's commandment even though they had been told, "if you eat the fruit you will die." Today we know for a fact, that "the wages of sin is death."

"Sin is death," it is separation of the soul from the body. It is a corporeal or physical death, and it is the disjointing of the spirit from God. This is the heart of all of man's hurting and grief. It is the broken relationship we experience. This is why we feel hatred of each other and selfish, unable to be our brother's keeper; ignore the peace of the word of God, we are deracinate and drifting. This separation from God fashioned a catch-22. Man himself cannot do anything to reinstate his connection to God. Man himself cannot redeem himself. Sin cannot fix sin. The world cannot fix the world. Man is sin and there is no good thing in himHe was born messed up. He was born in sin and shaped in it. Man cannot call upon enough goodness within self to be on a peer relationship with God. Man cannot rehabilitate his past of "missing the mark" that caused his rupture from God.

Man cannot solve him predicament and he cannot even explain it. But yet man claims intelligent.

God is not initiated in deliberation, only in manifestation. His own is self-revelation (Laconic, Dr. Clarence Rucker, Jr. PhD CCJP ICCS.)

God cannot relate to sin. He is the ideal righteousness and sanctity. His goodness and His righteousness is not diluted, it is not watered down and it is not weak, or negotiable by any contaminate which is contemptible. Every good gift and reward comes from God. There is no compromise and no gray areas. God is unadulterated. God is that He is. Sin is dealt with and not by man. God used a Sinless one for sinful ones. God wanted to restore us as His children, so He called on His Son to be the sacrificial Lamb for fallen man. In Jesus, God Himself took the challenge. He made it easy for us, now He dwells in us. But, did we receive??????

God's sanctity is not besmirched.

I love it. I'm sitting here thinking, "I've experienced what Adam had in the garden in only a small and tainted way. It's always cut short by sin (mine and that which has taken root in the world around me)." But we're heading toward a world free from sin. A place where we walk with God in the cool of the day unhindered. And not only there are we in fellowship with the Spirit of God, but we will have his Son. We will know God fully! Is that right? Can we say that? lol
