This is all about racism and prejudice at its highest level. A lot of Americans are so engaged and have such a hatred that is visceral. It is not this White or that White; it is the White establishment. It is difficult for them to grasp that our President is Black (African American). They are not changed by the President being both Black and White, it is the old separatist adage, "one needle tip of Black blood, you are Black. It is difficult for many to grasp the point of his Blackness. The haters are thinking they can stop the process by trickery. A lot of them feel if they could holler, get angry, and become loud and ignorant, they could hold things to stand still. There are racists being bussed in to the Town Halls and making disturbing racist comments about our President
I am sold, I am following My President, I even fought for that right and I do know right from wrong. If anyone is trying to help someone other than self, I am with him or her. Also, if any one is against someone trying to help another and saying, no, I also know they are for self, to me, they are saying, I got mine healthcare
These same haters are the ones that helped lead us to war in the past administration. These are the same ones that supported the last administration. Remember, in the beginning if you said anything against Bush, it was un-American. Remember?
"I would rather go to hell by choice, than to stumble into heaven by following the crowd" (Dr. Benjamin E. Mays.)
"Two Americas called, the United States of America." It is dust backed by hatred. The movie was "South Pacific."
Rogers and Hammerstein played this song in the movie called, "You've got to be "Carefully Taught." This is "Prejudice" at its best:
"You've got to be taught to hate and fear,
"You've got to be taught from year to year.
"It's got to be drummed in your dear little ear,
"You've got to be carefully taught,
"You've got to be carefully taught.
"You've got to be taught to be afraid,
"Of people, whose eyes are oddly made?
"And people whose skin is a different shade.
"You've got to be carefully taught.
"You've got to be taught before it's too late
"Before you are six or seven or eight,
"To hate all the people your relatives hate.
"You've got to be carefully taught,
"You've got to be carefully taught.
Little do this free country called the "United States of America and the "Land of the Free" wish to say, "that this is the source of racism in our country:" as little children are growing up and see their parent's behavior, and what their parents teach them directly and indirectly. It is passed on from one generation to another. Now I know why my best friend told me: "My mama says, "I'm too big to play with the Nigras now." We were ten years old at the time. The dust mind says, "Regardless if I destroy myself, that I will do if I could just continue to hate YOU." This is a good example of destroying you.

I am white, and there are bad white people and good white people, there are good and bad in all colors.............it's sad that people can't see past the skin and realize that we are all the same under the skin and that all people have the same feelings whether it be happiness, hurt, sad or whatever. I live in an area where it is 85% white, 10% indian (micmac), 1% asian, 1% africian, 1% Indian (india), and the other 2 % is cultures that I don't know about perhaps, like russian, or german, or swedish..............and saying that, the tension between the white and the indian (micmac) is quite disturbing at times............I have micmac friends, alot of them actually and they have different cultures yes, but the people i know are great !! And I am proud to tell anyone that.Wish everyone could just get along..........that would be a great prayer for this world. When the African American look at racism, we are referring to the control and holding economics from a people. When we look at prejudice, we are talking about a hate because of a difference and an untrue pre-judging.
Kathy, that would be beautiful. Like I stated above, "it is the White establishment." You and I may be just fine. However, it is difficult for others. Why? You do have your Limbaughs, Hannitys, etc., crying out in the wilderness and greeting each other as a "Great American." You and I also are Great Americans. But some minds are not as strong as ours and they are filled with the Barnum and Bailey mentality, One Born Every.... Remember on national TV, a weak mind said: (about Obama) "He is a Arab." These are the minds we have to deal with. You have to admit, the ones that are causing havoc and noise at the Town Meetings, it may be difficult for you to go to them and say, "why don't we all just get along? I guarantee, I guarantee, they would not want to hear your comment and would probably call you a N (word) LOVER. They would turn on you and destroy you to project their hate."If you know the truth," God said this, "It will set you free." I agree with your comment(s), I am definitely against hatred. You would be shocked and suprised, if you, do not agree with the anti-health group. Remember, if we change the health care, fraud will come to a quick hault, greed cannot hit the pockets as often, the Insurance companies will have us (the Government) watching them scam monies, and we will have the same insurance and health care our taxes are now paying for the ones that are saying, no. The adversary has duped a lot of people, when they say Government, the people get mad. They forgot, they are the Government. These nay sayers are angry at themselves. You know what I don't care if they called me a N Lover...cause I am. It's the same when Jesus walked the earth and still now days.....people are killed for loving Jesus, and I will stand up for him as I would for any race. I may not stand up for someone who hurt me or my family, whether they are white, red, yellow, black....there are good in all races and bad in all races, I Love everyone, especially Jesus and if I am commended for that so be it, and if I was called a N Lover so be it........I am canadian, but I am impressed with Obama and I know he will do a great job being president of the United States. Take Care :)
The only thing I can say then is, Amen!
