“Consider Him, obey Him, believe Him”

Hebrews 3 People with hard hearts know the truth but resist it and refuse to obey it. They know that God chastens disobedient children, but they almost defy Him to act. They think they can sin and get away with it. The first step towards a hard heart is neglect of the word of God (Hebrew 2:1-4) makes it clear, not taking it serious. It is either “hearing” or “hardening.”

We must at all times keep our eyes of faith fixed on Christ. When we are tempted to look at our circumstances or at ourselves, look to Jesus by faith and rejoice in His faithfulness. We must always consider Him.

Remember Israel, God gave us Israel as a warning against a hard heart. How does a believer’s heart become hard? That is simple, refusing His words, despising His works, and being ignorant or “Willingly Ignorant” of His ways. Sin is definitely deceitful. You think you are getting away with certain things, but all the while it is hardening your heart and robbing you of blessings. We must obey Him.

We remember the Jews were delivered from Egypt, but it was no guarantee they would claim their inheritance. Why? Because of their unbelief, they failed to enter the land (Numbers 13). An “evil heart of unbelief will rob you of what God has planned for you in your Christian life, so pay attention to God’s word. Remember what Paul wrote, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). We must believe Him.

There is no such thing as a hard heart. And no one has to obey anybody, serve anybody or follow anyone elses beliefs, laws or deceipt. A true heart is a loving soft heart who lives without a controling god that is lie

I understand Kellie. I was always taught, never elaborate on a subject in which I have no knowledge. I cannot elaborate on atheism, because I have no knowledge. But, here again, thanks for your response.
